As a follow up to this, this site is now ranking 4th for its main keyword term and has been live a little over 48 hours, granted its not a particularly competitive or high traffic niche, but still a very good reference for vics sites!

Your still around these parts then, not changed i see

This site and domain will cover the cost of vics service and the reg fee several times over, over the next couple of years. I know this because i already have a page ranking for this search term which has produced good revenue over the years for me.

So perhaps you are in the wrong business, for £67 i have a site that should comfortably earn 3-4x times that in the next two years with virtually zero work or effort on my part.

Please crawl back under your rock...

    Many thanks for the update.

While it is of course impossible to guarantee any results, a properly SEO'd minisite will always outrank a parking page, or just arbitary content just thrown up (excluding any backlink work).

    Thanks again!

Just a suggestion, Vic would be great if you could include a header.php include file in future sites like you do with the footer to allow quick insertion of analytics code.

Just a little tweak that would be welcome

    Hi,

I normally put GA (when I use it) just before the closing body tag, so it doesn't slow down the page.

I've also read that due to the JS it may not work correctly if included in an include.

I'll add an editable area before the closing body tag though, so it's clear for folk where to put it.

    Thanks for the input!
