DNS - runing your own ?

Thats all you have to do.

We typically have an A record and a CNAME for www but you can use rules also

seems to be easy. I've set up :



( * ) ( domain.co.uk ) and ( www ) as A records pointing to 192.0.1.2 (dummy ip as suggested as rules take precedent)

then in forwarding ive set up domain.co.uk. and. *.domain.co.uk. to head to the lander.

All seems to work ! Ony bit i wasnt sure about was wildcard didn't seem to work on dns only, but did when i added to forward rules

If you are using cloudflare free then it is straight forward

Create account on cloudflare
Add site (domain in your case)
Add DNS - A record -> IP address where you website is, CNAME www -> @
Cloudflare will tell you 2 nameservers -> Log into Nominet and change Nameservers to Cloudflare
Issue SSL on cloudflare on wherever your hosting is
Use htaccess to 302 the domain to where you want it to go
