came across these guys recently speedieconsulting.co.uk - worth a browse round the site and the blog

They also have a set of free financial calculators - WP Calculators | Speedie Consulting - it's a Wordpress plugin but I'm guessing you could pull out the javascipt, and as long as you leave their links intact you should be OK to use

    Cheers, Jon

being brutal imho I don't think it looks very good. Why don't you invest in a decent website - especailly if you think its a premium name someone else would invest in.. people might see the value more..?

    but probably better than parking..

Thanks for the feedback, getting some original content...so hopefully that will take care of the content. Also working on some awesome subdomains such as loan.approval.co.uk and mortgage.approval.co.uk, which should be SE friendly!

At this stage, going with simple text and HTML and no CMS. I could but, often cannot be bothered with it. Can anyone persuade me otherwise?

I thought you would have deleted it by now, especially as it's hard core porn links they have posted, spam needs to be deleted as soon as you see it posted.

Ban the posters username, IP address and their signup email addy, if it's an email addy from a private domain rather than Hotmail or yahoo etc, then ban the domain itself, not just the addy.

Thanks! Brutal is what I need.

    Right now....

    1. Having over 50 custom written articles for the site.
    2. Looking at platforms, WP vs Joomla! and what skins I can include.
    3. Working on more articles.
    4. Integrating some financial calculators into the system.
    5. Adding some good RSS feeds.

Does anyone have any recommended WP templates that would advise me to use. I see a lot dedicated to blogging...ideally should be good for content, with plenty of adsense and advertising space, but minimal to config. Have seen some good Joomla ones but not so many WP.
