You also get dodgy registrars who delete domains before they should, i.e. dd24. I'm not sure how you catch .coms but it won't be easy because they do literally get picked up dropped picked up dropped picked up dropped and all for free. Have a look at namepros.com

You would need to pay about 50 of these registers off:

http://www.icann.org/registrars/accredited-list.html

to lease their connections/drop threads to the registry.
