I have a few domains which are not hosted (just point to parking pages) but would like to set up e-mail accounts for (e.g. for family members etc). Can anybody recommend a simple to use e-mail service? I don't mind paying, just want something that is simple and reliable.

    Thanks
    Stephen.

I use everyone.net, a bit expensive though. I only have the 250 for one of my sites.

Someone else would have to advise further on this but:

is it possible to direct the parked names using forwarding whilst retaining the email service of the host site? eg 123-reg or cowrie.co.uk ;)

Yes, you'd set A records for domain.co.uk and www.domain.co.uk to point to the IP address of the web forwarding/parking service. (that should be set already)

You then add one or more mx records that point to the names of one or more mail servers that will handle the email for the domain.

Very easy, especially if your dns hosting provider is on the ball with zone file editing.
