    i sold a premium domain through sedo

    payment took place on the 19th May

    payment was by international wire

    i don't see any funds in my account yet

    i have emailed joanna.birch@sedo.com direct
    (as i was requested to last time i had a sedo issue)

    How long does an international wire transfer take?

    From Germany, up to 10 working days from my experience. Maybe more.

    Its not primarily a Sedo issue it's a German banking issue.

    It is a sedo issue, the bank does not owe the money, sedo do.
    If a service is not efficient you change the method of service. Efficiency should be the aim not excuses as to why it's not efficient.

    the amount of commission i've just given them it should be a bit quicker, and it would be nice of them to respond a bit quicker - i've sent email, posted on my sedo panel and now posted here.

    Then why send it from Germany ?
    Send it from Germany to Germany, UK to UK, USA to USA
    There are always ways to be efficient assuming of course the company wants to transact efficiently. Money in Money out etc.

    Sedo is a German based company.

    I've found the quickest way is pay to Paypal then Paypal to personal bank account (less than £5K).

    But all bank transactions should have an aim of 3 business days max, same day or next day if possible and whatever it takes that should be the way. If the company is holding your money and your paying them for there services then getting that money to you in the quickest and safest way possible should and must be there priority.
