HEART INTERNET problems AGAIN

After the problems ive been suffering, i decided to get my own TAG. So i logged into hearinternet, and clicked the link in the admin area to change the nominet TAG, After confirming i was redirected back to the main domain management area (No confirmation message or anything saying the change was pending). I know things can take a little bit of time to update so left it a while!! Nothing happened so deciced to contact their support stating that i attempted to change the tag on the domain to my own but am having problems.

Got the follwoing reply

Thanks for contacting us.

1) From your Heart Internet Control Panel, Click 'Order>Transfer a Domain' from the right-hand menu.
2) Enter the URL of your domain in the box at the bottom, then click 'Start Transfer'.
3) This will place the domain in your basket; this is accessible from the top right-hand side of the screen.
4) If you are happy with this purchase, click 'Checkout Now' and follow on-screen instructions.

A confirmation request will be sent to the billing handle for your domain - this will normally be set to your domain provider, in which case no further action is required from yourself.

ME:

Am i right in thinking what you have described above is to transfer a domain name into heart?

I am wanting to change the TAG on the domains xxxxxxxxx to my own TAG which is xxxxxxxxxxx so i can manage it in my own nominet account

I have attempted this twice already, which is why i have created this support ticket. Each time i confirm it, i am redirected back to my domain manager page and get no message saying that the request was successful or is pending

This is not something that we would be able to alter ourselves as a result i have passed this to our registrars who should get back to us shortly in relation to this, However as soon as we receive a reply from them I will update you via the ticketing system.

ME: (about 10 hours after the previous message)

I know the previous reply said when you know something you will let me know, but this is taking the mick now. I had trouble when trying to transfer a .com away not too long ago which almost cost me a sale, and now im having trouble with a .co.uk. Your tech team should be able to do this manually via nominet rather than keeping a customer waiting while they investigate what the problem is within the system.

Sorry to moan but this is just not acceptable when its something so easy to change.

Please could you give me the contact details of a manager to discuss this further.

Guess these kind of problems justify me getting my own tag.... Still waiting....

I haven't used heart but it might be the handshake on your tag you have to specifically set via nominet to accept incoming transfers if you haven't done this log in change your handshake to accept all then send the transfers again

Just give Nominet £10 and get them to whip all the names off that tag and put them on yours for you. All the names £10, no point wasting time with them bud.
