Domain nuts!

Hi Chestnut,

Welcome to the world of domain nuts. We have the name beechnut.co.uk in our portfolio..we don't have any chestnuts available I'm afraid.

I wonder how many other varieties of nut may be present on this forum?

On a more serious note, we may be interested in purchasing one or two of your domains... however, we are also looking to sell around 700 of our own so we'd only consider buying domains seen as particularly relevant to our business. I will have a good look through your list and let you know if any fit the bill.

Your best and worst... my opinion

Hi Chestnut,

Having had a look through your list, the one I think is probably your worst contains a mis-spelling of protection.. britishloanportection... i don't think it would instill a sense of confidence and trust in those visiting a domain, especially for that area of business..it seems unlikely to me to bring in the traffic!

Generally, short and sweet is better for domain names, as far as I know. I think in this regard domain names differ from key words and phrases. i am no expert though! Some of your names are unusual examples where a hyphen between words may actually be of benefit. As in GB-rally as opposed to gbrally which could be great for Gary Brally! so go register the hyphen one!!
Other than that, you've got some reasonably good ones i'd say.

Of your none financial ones I quite like your recycling related domains...I think if they're developed in the right way they could be good websites. Getting paid to recycle... now that's an incentive if helping save the environment is not enough!!
