I don't really have the time to continue this project.
Lookups.uk is setup on Katapult.io VPS (£10 /m) on ROCK-3 (3GB 1CPU) in LON-1 running Ghost on NGINX, which is a Node based CMS with Handlebars templating system. It's running a custom version of this theme. Which is connected to Github via Github Actions, meaning you can just make changes in your code editor and deploy directly to the site. Uses certbot for SSL, and is running Ubuntu 20.04 LTS
The site is running RDAP.org open source web client on the homepage, and has been heavily modified to integrate completely with Ghost. The management of the site is done via a web panel within Ghost. Ghost itself is managed via command line.
Running a cookie manager for all GDPR privacy concerns, with the ability to select, reject and modify cookies directly from a cookie manager or within the privacy policy.
With minimal promotion since it launched in October it's had over 300 unique users and just over 4000 visits. The custom conversion via GTM is the download for our custom Alfred App workflow that allows you to (if on Mac) quickly lookup a domain name via Alfred. Could be easily monetised via Ghost newsletter and membership which is built directly into Ghost, integration via Stripe for payments. Integration with Zapier meaning you can proactively connect to almost any API if Zapier supports it.
it would be an ideal project or going concern for someone who is interested in something like this and wants a head start.
All IP included, logo, domain, files, etc. and will work with new owner to either move across the files to their own web host or setup own Katapult.io account and have Krystal move it across to their account (£100 free credit so it would be free hosting for a while).
