Noticed the first real world use of a .uk domain name earlier today.

The domain name is getbrewing.uk and was registered 14th September 2014, the same day as getbrewing.co.uk. What's a little sad is the sign (which reads GetBrewing.uk) is above a shop front located on a main road yet the web site itself has a maintenance mode web page.

Interesting that they chose the .uk over the .co.uk.

I predict this will happen more and more, and .uk will become pre-eminent.

I like the name, GetBrewing.uk, it's very memorable. Is it distinct and non-generic enough to be Trademarkable though?

Such a shame that they haven't sorted the website.

I want .uk to succeed, but for me, at the moment, the url's look kind of funny! I can only assume this is because I'm so use to .co.uk, but hopefully that will change. Nice to see it in use.
