What a joke. Phoned up tother day to join - stupidly thinking they might want a 5k setup + £500 monthly fee + 30% override for doing next to nothing. Never heard back.

What gets me more than anything is the absolute piles of shite that are called businesses that currently exist on their network of which many (almost like clockwork) end up shutting down because in this recession people are finally realising what a weak businesses they really are.

As an affiliate and merchant I see both sides of the coin and someone needs a good kick up the arse in their marketing dept.

Pretty sure if you posted this on the a4u forum, someone from AWIN would sort it out immediately.

Yeah I reckon someone would sort it pretty quick over there, but you may be understandably hesitant after your experience.

I'd also agree with recommending POR, and suggest Webgains too.

@ julian - I am sure you know Clarke from PRO? He should be able to help. Re AWIN - a4u forum post would get a lot of traction.

I am the affiliate manager for a company on AWin as well as promoting tons of merchants on the network as an affiliate, and I must say, for the money that AWin take their after sales service sucks I'm not sure how they manage to keep all of the thousands of merchants on the network.

    Another +1 for PoR.

They make it so easy for additional sites to be setup too, nice and easy :)

What are the costs of being a merchant on paidonresults and webgains, does any have any experience?
