Hi all,

I've sold a domain through Sedo, the first one through them at least, and wondered if anyone could shed any light as they haven't responded to my question.

The buyer has paid into escrow, I have uploaded my invoice its accepted but on the one tab, I have two green ticks and a Red Cross next to 'payment note'.

If I click the link it just asks me to update my payment preferences which I've now done twice but the cross remains.

Anyone know how to resolve this or even if I have to?

Thanks.

It was £300. I've just noticed my phone has autocorrected!

Thanks. This is my boggle with sedo transactions  - having added unnecessary complications for what should be a simple process to justify their commission on top.

For relatively small sales like this, I do not believe sedo/escrow is required. Domainers are (mostly) in a stronger positions than they think when a buyer comes knocking.

I've been trading names for 15+ years, although I've made a few sales via sedo back in the day, since I stopped I've never had an end user back out of a sale after I've sent an invoice.

The Escrow thing was already in motion, I had no choice.

The mad thing is I have the domain listed on your site for half the price they paid. I'd forgotten to remote the listing!

I'm probably glad Escrow is used on this one as searching the purchaser their company is not in good shape...
