I'm thinking about registered a domain in the UK (.co.uk) of a product that is a trademark in the US, but not in the UK. The company name is a trademark in the UK.

    It's in the form <company><product>.co.uk

    Any reason not to?

PS. I searched the UK Trademark's here: UK Trademark Search

Yes - DRS rights are not limited to UK TM - any TM rights (e.g. US ones) will satisfy the rights test for the DRS.
