Van Finance Websites - If someone can help with value please

    Domains For Sale:
    I currently have the following websites for sale, they were used by me whilst i was employed by a commercial vehicle dealership, The websites GVF.CO / GVF.CO.UK / Vanfinance.co produce anywhere between 300 -600 finance applications a month both Prime and Sub Prime.
    Obviously theses applications were used for selling our commercial vehicles, you could setup up with a finance broker average com is around £100 + per closed Deal, expect turn around on 300 – 600 apps would be a minimum of 10 – 20%
    You could also add affiliate programs to the sites like we buy any van and also i recently added payday loans which have generated a few sales, some sites are taking the main share of traffic associated with their keywords.
    There is a lot of organic traffic as well as i did advertising to the cost of £150 a month which you can see from the stats below drove a lot of traffic to the sites being GVF.CO / GVF.CO.UK / Vanfinance.co
    Only reason for selling is a change of direction
    Some sites are PR1 Google
    Some sites require some SEO
    I WOULD CONSIDER SELLING THE SITE CONTENT IF REQUIRED.
    If anyone could value theses sites on the above info it would be great as really unsure what there worth is, apart from the money in the metal which would of totalled at least 300,000 over the past few years.

    Bottom line is what do they make gros , net how long they made it, tax returns, audited books etc (more you can back the figures up the better) most clued up companies etc would want these, without them you'd struggle to find a real buyer same as any business ... Some go 1, 3, 5, 7, 10 year multiples todays market you’d do well to get 5 - 7 years, Sometimes undeveloped make better because of percieved estimated income? etc Rather than that of the reality of developed ones...?

    Hello,

    Thanks for the reply as i was working for an employer but owned the sites i would not be able to supply specific numbers in relation to the previous business so i guess the value would lay with the sites themselves and the potential to earn money via the finance applications generated and the any affiliate programs added.
    All i can say reference the previous business is that 100's of vans were sold via these sites

    Think there the ones your trying to sell are they

    no site, revenue etc then
    GVF.CO.UK mid XXX to low XXXX
    GVF.CO seen plenty xx to low xxx
    Vanfinance.co the. co is still jury out on these (some say crap some love them…) you'd need to research what other TLds, cctlds in the field have sold for, when, who owns them, are they developed etc

    They are not generating revenue but are generating 300 - 600 finance applications a month so as good as, Those applications you would expect at least 10-20% conversion rate advantage finance would take the applications but would need manualy putting on to there system the avrage comms would be £100 per deal the only reason i have not gone down this route is the CCL was in the company name so i cant deal direct with that broker. Regarding .co prefix i have had good success so far guaranteedvanfinance.co gas a google ranking 2 position /pr1 for the keywords guaranteed van finance and van finance which is alot higher then GVF.co.uk

    If you go down the figures you have given lowest application route to commission 10% of 300 = 30 x commission £100 = £3000 p.m x 12 = (even giving it away at one years revenue) £36000 he .co without figures to back up ?????

    If it can make descent revenue just employ someone else to run it and take a %? Approach the affiliate there competition etc or the dealership they’d know exactly what it made… if you can sell to someone else then why can’t you sell to them? Even if they low ball you think .co without real figures getting even a months revenue as sale price would be lucky especially on a predominately uk forum … good luck anyhow

    The company i worked the past 9 yrs have closed down as of November due to issues not related to my sites in fact it was my sites that kept the company afloat for the past 3years.
    I understand what you’re saying about their value especially the .co prefixes without being able to back the claims without figures.
    Yes these sites will make decent revenues but my financial position means i need to look at selling
    Also i understand that i know the market well were as others will not understand the full potential

    If anyone else could comment that would be really appreciated.

    So you'd created these sites which belong to you, and you kindly allowed someone elses business to take all the money they earned?

    Anyway, one other aside that people should be aware of - we have a car finance company as a client, and from conversations with them I'd be very wary about buying a site with the words "guaranteed" and "finance" in them.

    There is the potential there to get into a whole world of pain because you cannot guarantee that you will give finance to people, whether they will get finance depends upon their circumstances and it is inevitable that some of the applicants will not qualify because their credit rating is shot.

    You could come unstuck via a plethora of governmental and watchdog type organisations, and if it happened then it'd cost you an arm and a leg.

    Thanks for the reply a quick responce
    I put the sites together whilst I was employed I was paid well per sale + basic
    In responce to the guaranteed side we worked with a sub prime lender who will lend to anyone on a contract hire as long as they had a reasonable deposit. This arrangement would be the same with any purchaser of the sites if they wished.

    And if they don't have a reaonable deposit they won't lend, ergo it is not guaranteed.
