I wouldn't rely on Estibot or any other domain valuation tool to decide on buying a certain domain or not. Stats like domain age, trust flow, PR, CPC value, brand-ability, etc. is much more helpful.
I recently heard that many of .co.uk domain owners are switching to their equivalent .com names. I'd like to hear some opinions of .co.uk owners why a .co.uk domain has more value for them compared to a .com? Is it the local SEO value, trustworthy image or something else?
I would only advise to buy hyphenated domains when they have significant traffic statistics. As a re-sell only value they're not worth much I'm afraid.
