Nominet announces programme for evolving the .uk domain name space

I think the question you have to ask yourself is do you think the .UK market will be worth more than the .co.uk market in the long run to global investors. If your answer is yes - which I think to be the case, then it is easy to justify why Nominet is releasing it. Businesses built on .UK's...

Nominet announces programme for evolving the .uk domain name space

I don't have any .org.uk's that would be eligible for this (as far as I know). I have a bunch of dropped .co.uk's that I will lose rights for as well. I was against .UK's from their first proposal. With that being said these new guidelines for Nominet have seen a complete 180 in their policy...

Nominet announces programme for evolving the .uk domain name space

Ye because Nominet designed this whole .UK roll out to target a small minority of people who drop catch domains.... The reason Nominet has opted to do it this way is because based on their consultations this is how to satisfy the majority of stakeholder complaints they would have received...

    Webmasters/Affiliates/Ballas in Nottingham

Hey guys + girls, Looking to network/speak to some like minded people in my area. Based on the success of this thread: http://www.acorndomains.co.uk/general-board/104963-any-other-young-affiliates-london.html I thought I would not put any age parameters. Anyway if you live in...

New site jumping all over search engine page position

I apologize for my above comment if that is the case. There is always exceptions to the rules and the pay day loans searches are always very amusing considering most of the domains are under a month old :D. That being siad I think we can all say all tactics like that are short term and will...

New site jumping all over search engine page position

Basically in my opinion a USP of any site should be its content. If you are confident that your site has high quality content that rivals the top 3 in your market place you have got off to a good start. Having good content opens up a lot of doors when it comes to link building and marketing as...

New site jumping all over search engine page position

If that was aimed at me I would say that the reason I corrected you is because what you said previously was fundamentally wrong. This is a fantastic rant by Danny Sullivan about traditional link building (easy links) vs real link building (hard links)...

New site jumping all over search engine page position

    * A normal site will build links from sources that will actually generate traffic for them.
