About 7 hours later they have finally sent me a "Domain Registration Confirmation" email and the domain is registered to me. Their website is still accepting pre-orders for it.- redrum

In case anyone's wondering, GoDaddy registered my uninteresting domain within the first 5-10 minutes so they appear to have completed registrations for more popular domains quite quickly today or are very poor at prioritisation.- redrum

They're still taking pre-orders for domains that they have already registered. That's not even the definition of "pre-registering" according to their own website: "Pre-registering means you put in a request to register the domain ahead of when it becomes available". I've just made a complaint...- redrum
