  3. I think it was a fair price, You would have to spend a fortune to compete with the likes of amazon, For every £1k you'd spend on competing you'd probably have to sell 800-1000 books through affiliate schemes to get your money back...It's a big ask!

    Good luck to buyer and well done seller , yeh it might b hard to compete against amazon but hey ... If it was easy ....,
    It does remind of something a friend of my dad told me when I was young he was in the car trade and I remember seeing him sell this car which seemed really cheap to me
    He said two things which really stuck with me 1 I can use that money and buy another car which can make me money and 2 I might never get another buyer at that price again for whatever reason why take the risk I've made money so hey

    Later when I was doing an MBA I remember reading in a business book "always leave some meat on the bone for the next person in any deal"

    You will do more deals and make more money that way

    Nice acquisution but I dread to think how much money will need to be spent to compete in the books sector. Very good luck to the buyer though- Id rather see him earn the £££ than Amazon et al.
