Perfectly fine, that's what this thread is for :) Like I say if others speak up that they feel the same I'm more than happy to look at alternatives, but obviously I need to make sure it is a problem rather an individuals opinion/preference otherwise we'll be changing things 3 times a week :D

Namepros is hideous to look at in my opinion but we built you a narrow version...... if you want to read the info thread :(

Is the "home page" link some profiles have, related to full, excl, supporter ? I've seen it quite randomly, nothing consistent I've noticed.

Also the portfolio link isn't broken, its showing a plain text url. Not sure if both are connected to he new pay structure. However the alternative contact method is the main reason I used my signature, so they stand out to me.

The little "brackets" next to names to show trader rating is a good step forward, a tooltip showing percentages and some stats be nice. I assume Positive = +1 and negative -1 ? so a high score = good seller / buyer ?

Homepage link is available for all users, that was a bug ( thank you ) and has now been fixed. The portfolio link has also been implemented as a click-able URL.

Regarding the Trader, we wont be extending functionality beyond what it currently is at this time. There maybe plans to use the trader in a different form in the future however at which time it maybe extended. For now I don't think its a big deal to have to view the users profile to get full trader details.

    :)

    Ooh, multiquote is clever

I also think it's a bit white, could do with some more contrast, on a laptop it's a bit uncomfortable unless the viewing angle is dead on

As requested/recommended by Mark we have applied a 'Live update' feature, you will receive notifications in your browser tab and in the menu top right area automatically as they arrive without having to refresh the site, it's pretty cool and you may be familiar with it from Facebook. For full functionality you may need to clear your cache and/or turn on the 3 options here (http://www.acorndomains.co.uk/account/preferences) under 'Live Update'

I agree with Murray – the home page is a mass of white, which is rather hard on the eyes when viewed on a large screen and therefore hard to read (although it could come in handy as a makeshift SAD light box during the winter months). Would be much more user-friendly with even just the light grey shading behind the text in the forum boxes...

It has changed a lot since that comment (for the better I might add) perhaps you need to clear your cache because there is a good shading in the post boxes now and with stronger borders it looks great to my eyes. Are you using a decent monitor?

The threads and post boxes are fine, but the home page on a big iMac screen is a very white design with no shading inside the boxes, which to me is a bit too 'Daz Doorstep Challenge'. Even having alternating shaded boxes on the home page would make it easier on the eye in my opinion...

Can you make it so more than 10 posts per page are possible, as in this day and age of Internet speeds, I can't see an increase having an impact.

Also, can you remove the option for it to check whether you want to mark the forum read after you've selected it, bit annoying having to do an additional click.

Another odd one is when I post a message and it displays on-screen, if I press the Home button on my keyboard to take me up to the top, it sort of flicks up a bit then back down to the bottom, then after that, will no longer respond to any Home/End command until I click on the page with my mouse (and yes, my browser remains the active window).

It's probably me being a bit thick but I'm a bit confused about the 'Recent Threads' and 'Recent Posts' sidebars. I'd have thought they were the same thing but there are posts just made showing in the 'Recent Threads' box but they don't show in the 'Recent Posts'.

I think I've answered my own question. I'm presuming 'Recent Threads' are brand new threads?

Liking the new design by the way, looking good!

You got it...cheers. Nice having them in the sidebar isnt it. BTW...if you want to find a members profile then in the search box just type their username and hit return and the member will appear in the sidebar :).

Can't send any new conversation messages. How do I do a mass delete to free up space - need to delete more than 1000 messages. Thanks

Goto the conversation list : http://www.acorndomains.co.uk/conversations/

Tick the tick box next to one of the conversations, a popup will show. To the right of that popup there is "select all" which will then select all of those messages on that page, you can then goto page two, do the same again and once you've ticked all the pages you want press Leave conversation.
