Hi Not looking to sell at this time. I recently purchased the domains dialaphone .co.uk&.com and have recently launched a website. Just wondering what sort of value these could command should they be sold. Excellent backlinks and large former brand. We even have the old companies twitter and other social media accounts. Nice domains to have You would probably be best waiting to see how sales perform to give you an idea of earning potential with generic and returning traffic. As you have committed to the website give it six months to a year to see what kind of value the name still holds. It would be hard to put a price on it without these stats. Best of luck with it.
We offered the administrators £xx,xxx but they just let them drop. Have you also managed to secure the active Trade Marks from Phones 4U?
We never get a response when enquiring about the trademarks. Our intention is to purchase them when Phones 4u ends its administration and gets dissolved or alternatively rebrand.
Same thing happened to me with another company. Offered administrators £xx,xxx for a domain name and was told it would be considered. Subsequently, they let it drop. I contacted adminstrators again to ask how that was in the best interests of those owed money by the company. No response.
Thanks to all for the advice and feedback. Made some changes to the site structure to help with the seo etc. Will see how things progress over the next few months.
I've had some recent £xx,xxx offers for these domains recently - probably due to this thread - if anybody wants to make an offer for these let me know by PM I'm not actively looking to sell but for the right price, I may consider using the site on another domain.
