Hello I've been scouring the web for a nice, clean Wordpress theme that would allow me to build a simple curated directory of links. I know there are various business directory solutions but I'm after something that would allow for a very basic curated set of links that might have some hierarchy to it also. Any pointers gratefully received! Thanks
Might be best to create your own custom template with ACF, add a custom post type and to manage your links. If you need to have something a touch more complex try WP Geo Directory as this would allow you to collect submissions. if you should need any help I’m available for freelance work
I'd agree that this is so simple that maybe it's a table plugin or just a few lines of code to spin up a table from ACF. I'd pick a theme on the basis of the landing page options and overall look then just bespoke a page type modifying the code or hand creating the pages with tables to be exactly what you're thinking. It really depends how frequently (or automated) you want to maintain the tables.
