These were 'sold' a couple of days ago, but the buyer pulled out at the last minute (he wanted the domains transferred to his nameservers before making payment. needless to say, I wouldn't do that. would you?). Anyway...

BobSinclar.co.uk and BobSinclair.co.uk ('Rock This Party', 'World, Hold On' etc... - music!)
Come as a pair, no point in splitting?

Google AdSense earnings...
13th May to 19th June = $291.62 (screenshots available).

The domains now point to an eBay affiliate link (been like that for a few days now and produced very little commission).

Open to offers. I don't have a 'buy it now' price in mind. Post offers here or send me a PM.

Thanks

Dont see why not. I guess he or she wanted to test the traffic.

So if 10 potential buyers wanted me to do that what would I do? One at a time and wait 20-30 days for a buyer to pay? And in the meantime I lose 20-30 days potential revenue? I'm more than happy to provide proof of stats/earnings to potential buyers, but to let them have control of the domains without paying? No, I'm not willing to do that.

You can change nameservers back easily - no risk to you.

See above. If 10 people wanted to do it? And just for the record, he actually tried to get me to change the TAG first. When I looked into that I found out what it does so I said I'd do it after he'd paid. He then said he didn't trust me!? How could I trust him?

10 people - depends on how much you want to sell it. Ig the traffic was ok, I guess the first person would do it.

Tag change - doesnt transfer the domain, so IF the buyer turned out to be dodgy, you would have to stump up £11.75 to have the tag changed back.

And 1 day of traffic 'testing' would be enough to please that one person? 2 days? 3 days? 1 week?

I know the TAG can be changed back, but how long would that take? Too long! The guy would've had the domains for free for quite a while. Why on earth would anyone risk such a thing?

Please ignore the ?'s, they don't really need answering. If anyone is interested in buying the domains please let me know.

Thanks

Ten potential buyers - if that was the case you would have a bidding war without the need for nameserver changes. Also why 20-30 days? You set the terms.

We are only saying there is no risk to you by changing nameservers. You asked would we do that? If I wanted a sale, yes I would. You don't let anyone have control of a domain via nameserver change. It's a sign of good faith on your part, costs nothing and takes ten seconds to do.

Good luck with the sale.

According to the registrar admin panel, it takes 24-48 hours for nameservers to take full effect. So 10 x 48 hours = 480 hours (or 20 days). From past experience I'm aware it usually takes a lot less time for changes to kick in, but I was just giving an example.

FYI, I did actually change the nameservers for him as he said he'd make payment the next morning. He didn't make payment! I waited until the end of the day and still no payment so I changed the nameservers back. Sorry, but the obvious thing for me to assume was he was taking the pi$$. He's refused to reply to 2 of my PM's as well (I know he has had them as he was online in MSN Messenger).

If you would've trusted this guy then that's your choice. I chose not to trust him.

As I said, good luck with the sale.

OK, so you've quoted a contradiction made by me. But the fact remains I did change the nameservers on a short-term basis as I trusted the guy to make payment. After waiting more than a reasonable amount of time he still failed to make payment, and didn't even bother replying to my PM's even though he'd received them. And you'd trust a guy like that? :???: WOW, you're a very trusting person. This topic was created for offering the sale of domain names. I didn't create it to have a go at someone who tried to take the pi$$.

ps. I don't know much about this, but maybes someone can check the nameservers history of domain names? Take a look, you'll see the changes made. :p

you said they was "sold" only one person can claim sold.... so it should be 1 at a time....?...

eh? :???: The guy didn't pay. He obviously had no intention of paying. He was clearly taking the pi$$. So in answer to your 'question', the domains were not actually sold.

That is not what im trying to explain to you. You said "what if 10 people want me to change the DNS names to there server"

theres only 1 person that can claim sold.. so only change it to theres....?

make sense?

yeah, I understand what you're saying. but claiming 'sold' and actually being sold is two different things. this guy was clearly taking the pi$$, so if I did have 10 people interested I would've had to delay the second person while I changed the nameservers back. if they did what the first guy did I'd be in the same mess again. And all that for a few quid? lol, no thanks. The domains are available for sale if anyone wants them, but I'm not happy messing about.

This guy knew I'm new to selling domain names and he tried to take advantage of that. If selling domains on here involves changing nameservers for weeks without actually being paid for the domains, then I'm not interested. I don't mind on a trial basis if that's what a potential buyer asks for, but if someone says they're going to pay on a certain day then I expect them to pay. An agreement is made and both parties should stick to it.

So if anyone wants the domains let me know. I have no use for the domains or the traffic from them.

again, your comment has confused me. I don't know what your comment is referring to exactly. what's the first time you've seen it? someone asking for nameservers to be changed? someone taking the pi$$?

I am willing to change nameservers, which is almost the same as offering it. you're saying I should offer to do that? so what is "just don't do it" referring to?

I mean i've never ever seen or heard of people wanting the seller to change DNS info... i don't see its point.. it takes up to 48 hours for the DNS to revolse fully..

I never seen it on any other DN forum... if someone askes it, say im sorry but i don't do this..

just show pictures of stats etc.. and earnings.. thats all you need to do.

I was a bit surprised when he asked for it, mainly because of the time it takes so it proves nothing. I'd already provided him (and others) with screenshots of AdSense earnings and stats.

ps. could you PM me details of other DN forums?
