Sedo stated it was a bit of a bumpy ride at first, as the seller was a little reluctant to receive such a large amount in one go.

However, once the wheels of commerce were sufficiently greased, it was a relatively smooth passage with the ultimate result being the seller having 500,000 swimming in his account.

Both parties seem satisfied with the outcome.

sex.st at £500 and xxx.st currently at £350 on sedo auctions along with a bunch of others...

Ref. uk sales...

Doing my best to source BUT finding little to no available data...

Would appear that the UK market is far more reserved when declaring 'adult' domain sales as I know for a fact they are taking place from varied adult webmaster/domainer forums etc...

Appears that our american counter-parts are less reserved when it comes to publicity...

Regarding monetising....

Case of taking each name on it's own merits and deciding accordingly which way to go...

To start, you should be parked to determine traffic and searches then, go from there with either development or affiliates...

The real secrets will be revealed soon....

The majority of my adult names are not for sale...

Whilst some have had bids via sedo etc, their is no way on this earth that I'll sell...

The UK market still needs to mature... A couple of years from now, the market will be thumping... IMO - Invest today for tomorrow's returns...

Too many UK domainers are missing things in their understanding and letting quality names go for sub £100... That, if you could see what I see, are worth thousands...

For the full picture, you need to look through different eyes...
Appreciate I'm somewhat candid at the moment but, all will be revealed as time passes...

For now, it's monetise in between - obviously...

If your picking them right, most of your names will be earning above reg fee anyhow...
Others will have their own unique 'generic' values...
