HTC Desire HD its less than 12 months old

I have the DHD how does it compare to the SII as Im due an upgrade soon.

Its much lighter and thiner than the HD which took a few days to get used as it didn't initially feel as solid in the hand.

Screen wise colors are a lot more vibrant on the sII although the way it renders whites is different theres a few forum posts around that talk gamma levels and stuff but i just turned the brightness up and now its fine.

If you watch HD vid on your phone this is were the SII shows its class the native video player opened all the formats I've thrown at it including 720p mkv movie files which the HD struggled with.
Games and Apps also seem to load faster they should though with the extra dual core power of the sII

haven't looked through all the samsung apps yet there seem to be a fair few though comparable to HTC's offerings although i mis my HTC clock.

If your getting an android before Christmas this is probably the one to get. have a look at the HTC sensation as well in a shop if you can and go for the the screen you like best
