after suppling lots of pallets of electricals, we noticed a large uptake on ninetendo wii's... interesting as it may be... most of the "ebay sellers" have ommited a few requests to supply serials #'s for the consoles they have or do not have...

this made us smile though...

argos uk have stock (145) package units coming on wed after 3.45pm so if you are quick and really want one!

I managed to get 3 DS's for our kids a couple of weeks ago, however this was via a corporate incentives program and my contact dealt direct with Dixons at the corporate level and was only able to get a handful (fortunately I'd asked first, so got 1st refusal - no the pink one's not for sale!)

I'd suggest from previous years examples with the "must have toy" that the chances of getting anything before Christmas is very low unless you can find a store with 1 on a shelf in the stock room.

We tried all the usual suspects and even went as far as trying the reserve on-line systems near other family members or friends in the hope we could pull in a favour and get them to go and collect one for us, but drew a blank.

I was in my local gamestation in lancaster and they had just taken an order in of 50 of each colours, my mate said he thought pink would sell the fastest but it seems to be the black one.

I can get you one there £159.99 with a choice of 2 games let me know..

i have 2 kids and would get them anything (within reason) for christmas if they wanted it, but if the item they wanted was out of stock or a Most Wanted item, making the price triple/quadruple then there is no way i'd pay anymore for it.

Come the beginning of January, stores will be flooded with Nintendo Wiis, so wots the point of paying £500 for summin thats not going to be worth more than £100 in about 2 months time?

the guy whos selling on ebay for £30k, the bid is almost sure to be a fake.

why cant people just wait? And if anyone starts using the excuses "I told my kids they could have one" or "thats all they wanted" or "they'll cry and cry and cry" then they need to have a look at themselves and see how they are bringing up their kids.

I would queue up for one, but wouldn't pay anymore than the RRP, imagine how much money Nintendo are making out of all this.........................

You was lucky, We had ice on the inside of our windows in winter and a coal fire. I had to walk 15 miles in bare feet to the coal yard each morning for a shovel of coal and had to chop kindling with a blunt weapon AND had to bathe in a Tin Bath. nudge nudge say no more.
