i have had four showers(ice cold but don't worry i didn't miss anything on acorn ) i have eaten five high school musical ice poles and still cannot do any work due to lack of energy,i can't be bothered to sell or buy domains and my front lawn looks like the amazon,is anyone else struggling?

yes its hard to do things as my arms are sweating with resting on the desk.

Yep. Took me about an hour to wash up and wipe down the surfaces in the kitchen :-(

This heat sure is an energy sapper.

high school musical ice lollies, i've got , peppa pig ice cream lollies

I can concretetrate, i problems have any don't

The heads not getting to my sun

Better than being proper windy and raining

Felt like i was going to black out in the cafe earlier

Take a week off, it won't hurt

My computer table is by the window, the sun passes overhead to the other side of the building at about 11:30am, the wind is blowing towards me and the last couple of days it has been freezing, actually had to close the windows and put the heating on, yet the bedroom at the back of the building is like a sauna.

One thing that's annoying me is the moisture in the air, I live on the seafront, it's pretty misty here (Hastings/St Leonards) and my mouse keeps juddering across my mousemat, which feels tacky from the moisture coming off the sea.

Get one of those portable aircon units. I'm freezing in my home office!! I have to go out the room to warm up every now and then.

i gave up on work today, gave it ago for a couple of hours this morning then rebooked the rest in for next week.

I love the weather!! I'm sat in my garden, sipping at my ice cold lemonade in the sun! The laptop screan glares real bad so I can't see much, but no problem concentrating!

I'm in Exeter - well 4 miles away.. Hasn't rained for yonks - just a pervasive mugginess. Today I was summoned for grocery shopping driving duty. Pissed down while I was out - got completely soaked and looked a right prat in shorts and t-shirt. Get home; rain stops, and the humidity is shocking.

forget work enjoy the sunshine its only going to last another week and then its back to winter blues.

get the old foster grants on, bermuda shorts, and jesus shoes on and enjoy it.
or head to park and chill out with a couple of beers.

Went out for an hour blast into the Yorkshire Dales at lunch on the pushbike, stunning. Cold shower, brew... back to work. Neighbour is out sunning herself, which makes concentration diff... i... c...u

I work with some people in Houston, Texas. They ask me about the weather and I tell them it's boiling. They ask the temperature, I tell them, then they laugh and say it doesn't even get that low at night time!

It's fine for them with their air-con, we have a couple of fans and are boiling!

Indeed so. Air-con is the key. I spend a lot of time in Asia in 35-degree heat but you can be sure that every room has air-con -- 4HP in the living room which makes you freeze... How about Riyadh? I spent some time there working and it was 45C. That's so hot that you don't realise it other than the fact that you need a pint of water for every 100 yards you walk, otherwise you die.

i hate this weather, and when i put my shorts on it looks worse, pale white legs and a sunburnt head and you take your top off and look even worse,i need a shower and another ice lolly, whats in these lollies they are giving me stomach ache.....

It’s the humidity that gets me, I’m loving the weather, but it’s just so sticky. I can’t complain though, this is probably all we’ll have for the next 3 years so I’m making the most of it. Off later for a bike ride around Rutland Water followed by a BBQ :D

I wouldn't say that it is part of Leicestershire if you ever come here :p most of the locals are very proud of Rutland, lol. It is nice, I don't know about in this heat, but my record is 2 and a half laps, mainly because there is a pub about half way around ;)

that was a bit of sarcasm ,rutland became independant then went back into leicestershire, then rutland then leicester,then......,wait till the local council runs out of money again then it will be back to leicestershire

I know, so was I, I just meant that so many people here are go out of their way to proclaim themselves as ‘Rutlanders’. I’m not too fussed myself, but one of my neighbours campaigned to try to try to make Rutland independent when it became Leicestershire. Quite often when I see her she manages to move the conversation to complaining that we have a Leicestershire post code which is why I made the point. Anyway, the way things are going we will be out of money very soon. I think the council lost £200k through bad investments this year, looks like the postcode will stay! I’m off now for a lap, wish me luck as it has cooled down to 25 degrees here!
