Hi All
I've got a domain name and it elapsed on 12th March 2011, This went unnoticed due to there currently not being anything on the domain, but it's currently in a Reactivation process with enom. I contacted namecheap and they said I could get it back through them, but it would cost around $200.
I've searched on Google to see if there is anyway around doing it with Namecheap for that price, but rather than getting the governing bodies version I just get domain companies versions.
Can I go directly to Nominet/Melbourne IT? and get it back through them. It's a .com domain.
Failing that I see I can backorder it on namejet, but it appears to be an auction, how long do these auctions run. It's not a great name but company specific more than anything.
I'm not an expert on domains so thanks for any help in this, it's much appreciated.
Cheers
Alex
