Can anyone give examples of exact match domains being heavily advertised and given a proper chance to prove their worth?

It seems to me that people have so far focused on the SEO advantages of EMDs, but few have been given the ad spend to prove their worth.

It is a generic domain, EMD would be FreeOnlineGames.com ranking number one in hyper competitive niche with super competitive keywords. Not sure if they advertise on tv though
