Wanted: Service Free links wanted, for a good cause

Hi Everyone

I would really appreciate some help, I recently met a little boy called Harry, some of you may have already heard of 'Help Harry Help Others', but if not it is a story about an incredibly brave young boy called Harry.

Harry has an inoperable brain tumour, but it hasn’t stopped him raising thousands of pounds for Cancer Research with his bracelets and amazing campaign. They make all the bracelets by hand, I had a go at making the bracelets, seriously beads all over my office its not as easy as it looks.

He came into my office recently and gave a presentation a company MD would be proud of, and I was instantly inspired, I promised him I would help him get more twitter followers and I thought you guys might be able to help. If any of the wonderful members of AD can add news stories or links on your websites I’m sure that would help, he has become quite ill over the last week and is in hospital but still tweeting every few hours, now that’s determination, if you can help at all I know he would really appreciate it.

Looks like an 11 year old is better at marketing than many businesses too!

Hope he gets out of hospital soon too.

No probs mate, always up for a wee bit of support of the good cause, got several banners for a local seafarers charity on my websites as well.

I think we as domainers/affiliates are in a very strong position to support charities without having to put in too much of an effort.

Just imagine all of us pointing our idle domains to a charity website for a week... Perhaps something we could if there are enough people up for it.

That’s a great idea, after meeting Harry I immediately thought I could do something to help, and then I thought that some of the people on the forums I regularly use could also help, and I must say all the help on AD has been great.

I have a few sites that get over a million hits a year and just by adding a few links and blog posts I can make a small difference, your right we are in a good position to make a difference, it probably isn't for everyone for certain reasons but if just a few of us do it then its great.

GF was very very happy with the bracelets and my mom in law thought I did a very good thing by supporting this cause.

So all in all.. Scored some brownie points and supported a good cause, win/win I would say

Harry is really poorly in hospital and had to have an operation as the pressure was causing some really serious problems, he hasn't woke up from the op yet but his mum told him he has over 20k of Twitter follows and he has squeezed her hand, a good sign, so again I want to thank everyone for your help.
