I'm trying to find some stats to use in a business plan.

Does anyone know where I can find some free stats on online spending. Preferably categorised.

I have found a couple of reports but you need to buy them for several hundred pounds. Can't really justify the spend when I only need a couple of figures from it!

Can't find a single tidy source, but hopefully if you just need a handful of stats you can pull them out of the following, which were all published in the last 9 months:

http://www.theguardian.com/news/datablog/2012/dec/13/uk-online-obsession-ofcom-latest-figures
http://www.ons.gov.uk/ons/publicati...none&sortDirection=none&newquery=retail+sales (there's some online sales-related data in each monthly "retail sales" report)
http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/articles/4...emini-eretail-sales-index-online-shopping.htm
http://www.theguardian.com/business/2013/mar/08/high-street-sales-forecast-shrink-13bn
http://internetretailing.net/2013/06/uk-retail-sales-rise-by-16-in-may/
http://www.thedrum.com/news/2013/01/02/two-thirds-uk-e-retailers-predict-online-sales-surge-2013

Perhaps not entirely surprising, since they're all quoting a variety of original sources, none of the pieces quite agree with each other, but there should be enough there to make something of it.

On the other hand, pulling a figure here and a figure there also gives you a nice lot of "endnotes" for the list of sources, if your document could benefit from that sort of thing!
