Current list of 75 has been sold, will update when I get a new one.

Odd title I know but I have a list of 100s of available .co.uks and some .coms, I have compiled a list of 75 generics mostly .co.uk but some .coms, all products which are bought online.

The list of generics all have minimum UK exacts of 1k, there's quite a few at 3.5k and 1 at 6k and 1 at 9k UK exacts per month.

Most products sell for anything between £10 upto £500+

Would it be worth me putting this list up for auction and how much do you people think it could be worth ?

This is hard to put across without revealing my list sorry !

Similar, I would say mine are better quality, these are what I want to reg myself but if I can get decent money for a list then would rather do that and put the money towards a nice generic.

Thought it must be worth at least £1 per name :?

I think the only way is to publish and then take donations, personally I think there are plenty of guests on here who would take without a donation.

Ah well

why not register the 75 yourself if you think they are good or alternatively cherry pick the better ones.

Total outlay would be c£450 for 2 years which if you are correct could be recouped with 4/5 sales at £100 over the 2 years.

If you aren't prepared to invest in the domains on the list why would someone else be prepared to pay you £75+ for just the list?

If I had £450 in one go then they would all be regged by now, I had others on my list and had to watch them get regged by other people, I can only afford to reg about 5 names per week unfortunely.

Perhaps an idea would be to post your donation expectation up per name (not sure what the going rate is - £5?) along with a handful of some of the good quality names. If you receive donations then keep going with the rest until all gone; this just has the risk of a few people not paying for some.

Alternatively, post up a request and see which respected members would be interested in seeing the list on the basis of a donation if they take a name (if they don't pay then they don't get any more names in future).

Personally I'd be interested seeing a list on the basis of donations. Works out cheaper than buying a domain off a member then having to pay the Nom fee too - and also saves time looking through the keyword tool.

I've tried in the past to sell FTR lists, a couple of times, as an experiment. Never worked - people just don't seem to trust you to leave the good stuff on the list, no matter what you say! Posting them publicly then soliciting donations may at least get you SOME cash though, if you're lucky...

Thanks for your replies, I'll just wait till I can afford to reg them :)

If people aren't trusting then no point, I've seen lists posted publically and then have been drained, I wonder how many donations were made ?
