Okay so I've got a few domains and pointed them through to my site for type in traffic. For example www.example.com points to /products/examples/index.htm

However if I do a search in Google for the type in domain www.example.com it returns

Your search - www.example.com - did not match any documents.

Is it possible to get Google and other search engines to list mysite/products/examples/index.htm when someone searches for www.example.com?

This may be a stupid newbie question to you expert domainers out there, or it may just be a situation you don't come across because parked domains usually have a parking page which will get list in its own right.

make sure you use URL rewriting on the forwarded URLs, or you could end up with a temporary ban on the main URL... sounds like this may have happened already. How long has the site been up and running? Was it indexed in Google previously?

yes just get somebody to link to you with the anchor text as:
eg.

<a href="www.example.com/products/examples/index.htm">www.example.com</a>

and wait a month or 2
