Hi,

Graham here. It's time for me to get active in the domain name game!

I have about 50 or so domains hanging around from when I used to be an active affiliate publisher plus a couple of others I picked up along the way. I have probably let another 50 drop over the years only to see similar ones sell for a nice price. So, I'm hoping to learn a few things round here and not repeat that mistake.

Sure, I'll break it down a bit..

Worst domain: I have let a lot of junk expire inkjet-printer-cartridges-4jp.co.uk was probably one of the worst...I had a bit of a thing going on with "4jp" as a network of sites, worked ok for SEO for a while back in the day, but the domains were really crappy.

My favourite deal: went to gambling exhibition in Birmingham NEC, saw a new product and bought virtual-football.co.uk for a fiver, sold it 6 months later for £1k

My current favourite domain name: live-betting.co.uk
