Hi Guys

Tonight was the first time I watched the comedy "Come Fly With Me". I noticed that the BBC have used Mark Monitor to register flylo.co.uk (not that I would have regged it because it's not my style), the name of the low cost airline. It's good to see domain names being taken seriously.

For a few seconds I thought hey that's actually quite a good brandable name, but then I realised the lo bit has a few negative connotations with flying when it comes to altitude.

It's a shame they don't do anything with the names, even if it was just to forward them to a page on the BBC website, but I guess most normal people wouldn't be looking up the names. :)

Not really sure why they bothered registering them if they aren't going to be used. They should have put up a couple of satirical websites, could have gone viral quite easily.

They should put up a fun site and milk it with some nice virals.

Didn't the IT crowd also have the domain of the company where the series evolve around and had some sort of website on it?

I think they did something similar with tamwar (sp?) from eastenders when he was doing stand up comedy, sure there had a domain and a site up with a few videos on it.

The reason they haven't put up a site, is probably because they couldn't think of anything funny to put on it.

I only watched the first episode and it was rubbish IMO. Looks like it's been written by a couple of 14 year olds.

Your sense of humour is broke, it is quality lol.

If you listened at the end of last nights episode they said you can see feargal(?) the air stewards social network page on the BBC website.. why not put that on the ourladyair site?

Just been reading the site and it has not been set up by CH4 but by a guy from Australia, nevertheless its still class.

IT crowd has been my favourite show on tv together with Peep Show while living in the UK.

OK, Father Ted is one as well but it wasn't really new while I was there.

The gf was telling me that Mrs Doyle is now in Shameless? Didn't really keep track of the latest Shameless episodes but it seems so.
