For years i have always been under the impression that sites links (where a site is SERP 1 & has say 4 or 6 sub links) are generated by google if you have a popular site, IE -good daily traffic.
But this mornig i noticed that one of my clients e-commerce sites has had site links generated by G this week,
After a bit of digging i see that this site only gets 1200 visits PM, nothing compared to EMD sites that i have- which dont get sitelinks, despite being top spot, So im wandering how sitelinks are factored?
As an educated guess, I would say G looks at a correlation of data, UV's, bounce r8, e-commerce conversion etc.
Now my question is, Does anyone else think/suspect or can prove that google does not give sitelinks to EMD sites?
TIA
