greetings from glorious sun-baked lincolnshire!

i just saw this forum mentioned at dp, so here i am, a member already.

i've owned quite a few domains over the last few years: some .co.uk's but mainly .com's: about 100 at the moment.

i'm sure i've bought a few complete dogs in my time: can't bring 'em to mind just now but i'll try to dig some out for your amusement when i can.

off to read some posts now.

boo :)

Great intro, welcome to the forum boo!

P.s: Great punctuation and language, where are the capitals?

thanks!

not doing capitals is one of my many hobbies.

why not try it? you might get to like it too. ;)

Text talk is taking over the world - at least the full spelling is there, for now.
Welcome - don't be shy about listing a couple of domains for our amusement, besides, their viewed as a personality guide. ;)

Haha and where is this section?

i've always wanted to try out the whole not using capital letters thing but i always end up capping some of them so ultimately it takes more time for me to type like this..

if you take a moment or two to examine my admittedly very limited posts here i suggest you will find that my clarity, in combination with my spelling, grammar and punctuation, make them more readable than the bulk of posts at this or almost any other forum. my little reward is my preference not to trouble the shift key

you may rest easily in the knowledge that i don't text: nor indeed do i "text talk".

and please don't waste your valuable time worrying about my spelling. apart from the very occasional typographical slip you'll find it exemplary.

as to my less than triumphal domain purchases i have said i will "try to dig some out for your amusement when i can", although i recommend they are viewed instead as indicators of momentary aberration/stupidity. if by chance i recall a fleeting moment of genius i'll recount it with equal relish if you insist. :)

before i go i should, albeit reluctantly point out the simple, yet sadly frequent confusion between the commonplace words "their" - a possessive pronoun indicating ownership - which you did not intend; and "they're" - a contraction of "they are" - which you did. ;)

by the way (i believe that's "btw" in text talk - like many other things, i don't do it but i do know about it) i think it might have been my granny who once told me "every day's a schoolday". that impressed me so much that i stopped trying to teach her to suck eggs.

I literally just gave that little lesson to my eight year old daughter five minutes ago... Too funny

welcome.

where abouts in lincolnshire? before i moved here, i was on the A52/A1 roads in lincolnshire.

thanks Sean,

i was born in warrington, lancs but tarried there so briefly as not to remember it; grew up in yorkshire in the halifax area and now live out in the sticks near market rasen, lincs.

and very nice it is too! :)
