I would be very grateful for guidance on whether (or which of) the major affiliate schemes are geared up for affiliates who own lots of domains : enough to make it painful to have to register each domain with them individually, but with the portfolio of domains not yet established enough to be worthy of serious commercial partnership discussions or a dedicated account manager.
I get the feeling that with Amazon.co.uk I can use my unique ID on whichever domain I want to, subject to avoiding banned categories etc.
However I am interested in whether that approach also works with the broader affiliate schemes under networks like, for example, AffiliateWindow and TradeDoubler.
I would hate to miss out on commission for genuine purchases simply because their commission systems match against an explicit list of approved domains against my unique identifier.
Also, should I register with them using my dull corporate (!) domain which will look extremely bland and unappealling or a semi-random customer-facing one ?
Many thanks,
David
