Hi everyone,

I have a .co.uk name with RegisterFly, and the domain is now 1 month past renewal date.

Initally, the RegisterFly internal system was showing a bad renewal date of 0000-00-00 for my domain.

I wrote to them a few times but nothing changed, and then I forgot to follow it up for a few months.

Then I checked public whois and realised the domain has passed it's renewal date by a month, so I wrote to RegisterFly again, and in their system they set the date to todays date as the renewal date (which was over a month later than the actual renewal date in public whois lookups)

I then tried renewing the domain via their system (twice) and it failed each time.

I submitted another trouble ticket, and now the domain is actually removed from my RegisterFly account, but I can still see the domain in the public whois, with my details.

I of course submitted another trouble ticket to RegisterFly but this has not been replied to in 3 days, just has a status of "assigned".

The whois lookup shows
Registrant's agent: TUCOWS Inc [Tag = TUCOWS-CA]

Here is my burning question....

Is there somewhere else I can go to renew my domain name?

I have tried searching both Nominet and Tucows/OpenSRS websites but cannot find anything on that indicates I can do it anywhere besides RegisterFly.

Before RegisterFly "deleted" the name from their internal database, I had already tried renewing the domain twice but their system failed to renew it each time.

All suggestions greatly appreciated :)

Hello

I would write an email to [email protected] with subject
marked as urgent perhaps and explain to them your problem. I would guess
that you could get Nominet to change TAG to someone elses . You might also ask support (at) nsnoc.com to renew it for you as they are reliable registrar in UK.
