This has clearly been asked a lot over the last few years but I don't really find any definitive answer.

If I want to target something in London should it be:

London Keyword
Keyword London
Keyword in London

Seems like "in" WAS a stop word but now I'm not so sure.

Any ideas

GKT will give you an idea on what people are searching for - will give you an idea

Also are all the adword advertisers sticking to one type of keyword in their ad - again it may be down to their experiences on better search results.

I've personally found that search engines tend to ignore the 'in' part for results displayed - although just my experience of course

London Keyword would be top choice I think...

I obviously like Keyword London as an alternative ;)

Heh thanks for the replies.

It's a wierd one, some niches there are more searches for Town Keyword and others Keyword Town, but the "in town" is nearly always much lower.

Food for thought.
