Sad, young age. :(

Anyone remember 'Game for a laugh' ? Great show!

I swear I must have watched him all my childhood and never notice that gammy hand until years later when it was pointed out.

I swear I must have watched him all my childhood and never notice that gammy hand until years later when it was pointed out.

.and after it was, thats all you looked at I bet.

Shame he has gone, I used to like Beadles about on a Sat as a young 'un.

He attracted funds for Children with Leukaemia all through his life and is thought to have raised more than £100 million for all charities.

Wow, what a great person

Just read that he raised £10's of millions for childrens leukemia research over his lifetime and was awarded an MBE for it.. tremendous

it is sad

he was never off telly when i was younger

i used to laugh to at gammy hand, but i saw him on 'this week' a few weeks ago, and he was a totally sound bloke.
he has done loads for charity. irony is he too got leukaemia before getting pneumonia
saw on bbc.co.uk earlier, he had a hell of a couple years recently with illnesses.
he was only 59 :(

How sad, was shocked when i saw the headline :-(

Used to love watching him when i was a nipper, I hope they record his achievemnets for raising so much for charity. he'll be missed.condolences to all the family and friends that were close to him.

He was one of the best and will be sadly missed. "Gerry, Gerry, Gerry"

The funds he raised for charity was incredible - over 100 million.

I didn't realise he done so much for charity. To raise £100m is amazing

I heard an article on the radio which said he was a great bibliophile and owned 22,000 books.

I remember watching his progs in the late 80s as a kid - superb. I liked the ones where he always turned up as a policeman at the end. Didn't he get punched a few times during those pranks as well?

Jeremy Beadle RIP
