Just installed a trail version of Kaspersky internet security 2009 and it detected a "keylogger" it's not telling me what it is or where it is, only let me have the option to "add to exclusions" "delete from the list" "clear list" and "view on viruslist.com" which gave no information.

Viruslist.com - Keylogger

What does it means and what should I do???? Help!!!

Thanks admin,

I think myabe you're right, my friends recommend me to use Kaspersky, do you think it's any good or do you recommend anything else? I have had a single anti virus program on my for years, until news on the virus affecting Windows.

or, use Linux and forget about virii and security issues :)

Cheers Admin downloaded everything, Alex it's not that I want to use windows, it's just that I don't have a clue on Linus, I even get confuse using a mac....

@ Takwa, don't worry about using Linux, I know nothing much about computers but managed to install Ubuntu on this old Windows 98 desktop easily, there are some things I can't get to work, such as I can't get flash player to install, so I'm not able to see any flash graphics on website or any YouTube videos, then again, I hardly ever view videos, and I don't like flash sites, so I suppose it's a bonus :D

Give it a try, you can set it up as a partiton on your hard drive, so you can either boot up and use Windows or Linux, your choice, it's certainly far superior to windows where virus's are concerned!

Oh dear. You have some interesting times ahead, I can tell ;)

There are always vulnerabilities, assuming you can forget about viruses* and other security issues just because of the type of O.S. you have installed would be a mistake.

P.

* This is the correct plural of virus. People who talk about virii generally come across as trying to sound superior, whilst ironically getting it wrong
