Monetising shopping & cashback-related domain names with white-label solution

On Wednesday V A C Media launched a white-label cashback solution paying over 50% commission to partners. The income is residual meaning you receive the revenue-split for life. Best of all, there are no set-up or monthly fees whatsoever.

They are our client and I've had a couple of domainers contacting me saying they may be interested in the offering for their shopping/money/cashback-related domain names, so thought I would reach out to members of Acorn Domains who have not heard of the new service.

This looks very interesting.
I am wondering if you can show the breakdown.
For example on magazine group, the commission paid to an affiliate per sale is £4.80 per sale.
What would the percentages be on this?
Customer = %
edealsUK = %
Me = %
The reason I ask is I see the cashback on offer to the customer is £2. Is it the remaining £2.80 that is split 60/40 ?

You ask a good question. The revenue share would be that the customer receives 50% or thereabouts cashback. Then, of the remaining about you would receive about half and V A C Media half.

So, if Magazine Group is giving £2 to the consumer, of the remaining £2.80 you receive half and V A C Media half.

V A C Media is sometimes on higher tiers (increased commission) with many merchants because of the volumes they do through their network of websites and you would still receive half the cut of the higher tier-amount.
