I have a freind who does nail stuff but is mobile so not a salon.

Lets for example say her company is called "Nails by Sally"

What for SEO and the ideal domain that covers all bases could I use for her?

I'd like the city to be included but she covers a lot of areas im not sure what to add to it and dont want for example HullNails.co.uk ;)

On the other hand I dont want to mention just 1 area like "Acrylics"

So ideas guys?? Based on stats, gut feelsings, etc :D

Thanks

In the grand scheme of things, I think not having the locations or services in the domain will be OK in this case. So, IMO just go with a strong brandable domain name, and do the SEO in page names etc. I think for the success of this business, other forms of marketing such as giving out business cards, local advertising, Facebook etc etc are going to be more important than traditional SEO.

The Nail Bar - TheNailBar.co.uk

Go brandable > TheNailBar.co.uk > hint! hint! ;)

Best,
Barry

It might be a good idea to avoid personal names for a business name.

If she manages to build up the business, then decides to move into something else she may be able to sell the business on as a going concern.

This will be easier if it was called 'ABC Manicure' rather than 'Sally's Nails'
