after suffering many years at the hand of namesco's legendary bad hosting (mysql servers constantly falling over etc.) I have just discovered today that for some reason they changed the contact address on all of the domains that I left reg'd with them (120 .co.uk's and com's). They blamed nominet who in turn claimed they had requested the change etc... So after going around in circles this morning I have decided to move everything - I have around 450 domains with 1and1 who are painful to deal with but always the cheapest should I move the namesco tranche to them or does any one know of another company thats good value and super secure? Thanks

I can recommend daily.co.uk for .uk names - BTW, were they claiming that Nominet were to blame for changing details on your .com names?

With that many names, you should setup your own Nominet tag and enjoy complete control with a bit of a cost saving on top.

They were claiming nominet changed the details however all of my dealings with nominet over the years have been excellent the reverse is true of namesco - is a nominet tag difficult to set up?

Really? Maybe I'm missing something but they don't look like the cheapest, especially for .coms.

I will leave someone else to answer that question because I'm heavily biased

You should get lots of responses though, it's something people feel strongly about!

If price is one of your main concerns though, it's definitely worth shopping around.
