Be interesting to see how they do. Historically, things like this usually back fire and the company backs down.
I wasn't aware all they were doing is, block the big IP ranges, that seems like they are doing a big gesture to appease the US masters. The Account Holder + IP Location would be a sledge hammer to crack a nut, but just killing known ranges seems like just a hit to passive user and appears to be a big strike but is actually nothing.
Their big fuss in the media made it sound like they were doing loads heh, prob scare tactics.
With now-tv boxes being bought up at £5-10 and then being "hacked" to install Plex and other software and then said plex boxes being set up with access to all the latest illegal downloads both movies, tv, sports, music, etc to be streamed, Netflix has bigger concerns I think.
