Got about 325 odd domains good bad and ugly, got started years back when just about anything you wanted could be regged, happy days indeed. Unfortunately was a bit impoverished the registration was a bit expensive and couldn't get the then 'er' indoors' onside.

Got a couple of goodies though, sell one every now and again to keep washing the holding costs. Last one I sold was stayquit to netdoctor, via a broker, if I had known who the end user was it would have been a bit dearer.

I read somewhere on the forum that a guy was looking for tangible backup regarding the value of a decent domain name, well one of mine returns a very substantial turnover and we have never advertised, the income is generated directly/solely from the site. Be happy to share further info if needed.

PS. If anyone is interested in getting involved in a project, we are rolling out (bigboystoysdotcom), just wasted 10 months with a Bulgarian Co. which came to nought. Have a client list that includes LearJet and AstonMartin happy to chat to any interested parties.

Web/tech Development in short.

After only the lightest of approaches to a some selected blue chip 'brands' we started getting a fantastic level of interest from their respective marketing depts. Not only with a view to publicising existing product lines but also as the potential vehicle to perhaps unveil new product to market, we have developed approx 18-20 various income streams that could be derived from the site not including the the main cash cow, that would be actually retailing product.

The domain has the cache of being a global expression, and even with nothing on the site we are seeing great amounts of type in traffic worldwide.

We have all the necessary marketing and research strategy completed, done a pretty buoyant bunch of projections and everything in place in order to, if necessary, go for funding. However as this opportunity is currently in the form of a small limited co (two directors). we would rather exchange shares and an beneficial interest in profit sharing (as and when viable) with somebody that can bring something tangible to the table in the shape of a world class site that can deliver some of the most valuable brand real estate to market, and do the domain name justice.

To explain the above a little more clearly, to develop and run a site will carry a pretty high on cost, our experience of venture capital and dealing with banks are that the former will install their own team and the latter will at the first sign of a chewed finger nail ask for its money back hence the above. Plus bought in labour never tries as hard.
