15% of cancelled domain names are actually re-registered by someone else within just 24 hours, so don't delay if you do want to keep your domain name.

If you would like to speak to someone about this then you can either contact the people who manage your domain name for you or call our friendly helpline on 01865 332244 anytime between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday. If you no longer need your domain name, no action is required.

That's more than I expected. I only see on average maybe 5-10 domains worth chasing every 24 hours out of thousands, certainly not hundreds. Some days only 1 or 2 lol.

I probably only chase 1-2 domains a week these days.

15% is overly optimistic, my data indicated closer to 8%.
