Popups/unders on or off?

What's the preference for you guys when parking, do you enable them or not?

Currently I'm with the off skool of thought (only because they annoy the sh*t out of me though nowadys it's not so bad with tool bar blockers etc, so is that another reason not to have them on (tool bar blockers )?.

Off off, and a bit more off! I personnally think that web users have been drilled so hard that pop ups / unders are the work of viruses, spammers and spyware that any site visited that displays them is the 'enemy' and so click throughs are affected because people click away from the site. Return visits, even if they are simply parked or adsense mini sites, will also reduce.

Plus they annoy the s**t out of me!!! :evil:

Up will annoy n distract - p off the surfer...

Under can go un-noticed till they log-off - then, a nice piece of ass being displayed as they close the windows can prompt a click...

Am going to take corrupts' advise re adult sites and try it out on a couple
even tho it's going against my own prefs

There's one particular US based registrar / parking site that users can have about 4 p. ups generated by clicking a parked page.
Now that's what I call annoying .....

Currently with ND and have popunders enabled across my portfolio. Last months earning on Popunders was $ 14.00. Not sure whether you think I will get more repeat traffic by switching popunders off or leaving things as is. Happy that we have an open debate about this on here on Acorn.

What type & how many domains do you have parked w. ND?

Can you say where the majority of the clickers reside i.e. USA / Europe / Asia ?

About 300 odd, mostly .co.uks, traffic origin typically therefore UK - ND shows this as Europe !
