Pre-Xmas meet up - London ?

Hi All,

I've just come back from Adtech New York, and been reminded just how good it is to get out and get a bit 'jolly' with those in this business (you know who you are, and I'm still recovering)

Wizard, you've done sterling work in the past on this, but I know that 2nd bundle-of-joy is due soon, so I'll try to take some of the pain out of this for you .. and I guess volunteer to organise space/ logistics etc (but very happy to hand this over to another Acorner if they are keen .. All help welcome !)
Christmas is just 6 weekends away - so: to start - Fridays poss. best (owing to recovery factor) - I can do 15/22/29 Nov or 6/12

Thinking a central bar with space for 50 and acoustics to have a chat...

All logistical considerations welcome - and in the spirit of making it NOT 'Geo-ist', as some have been accused of in the past, I'll throw my hat in and say if there was support to organise a Midlands/Brum/Herts/Northants bash instead of London, I'd make a dam good effort to get there (@mdrussell I've just seen your thread at http://www.acorndomains.co.uk/introductions/119590-lincoln-east-midlands-meet-2.html and will happily come up if that happens ;-)

Thoughts in this thread please .. if you ping availability and location suggestions, perhaps we can make this happen

My only date would be the 15th as I will be in the Motherland on the other dates.

Where we were before was quite nice, the Heights Restaurant at Saint Georges hotel, but happy to be more adventurous and try somewhere new. Getting into Christmas party territory though so should probably book sooner rather than later.

Was at the Christmas London night two years ago, had a great time!
Sadly I've moved away from London since then and am now back in Scotland.

Am more than happy to organise something in either Edinburgh or Glasgow in the new year if there's enough people interested to warrant it

Otherwise will hopefully make a future London event, just cant do this one
