Hi All

I reg my domains with Heart Internet, and I get a new Nominet ac for each batch of domains I reg.

I have just sold a domain and whilst I can log in to the relevant Nominet Ac, the registrant transfer option isn't available. I'm guessing this is because the account has not been activated, would that be right?

Is there a quick way to activate the ac yourself online or do you need to ask customer support?

Thanks

Do heart allow you to change the ISP Tag ?

Maybe worth asking someone with a tag if they would be nice enough to push it for you if you change to their tag :)

Yes, Heart would allow a Tag change.

The buyer is a tag holder. However, I need a change of ownership on the WHOIS and they couldn't do that.

I will e-mail Nominet and ask them to activate the particular account the domain is sitting in. That should give me the registrant transfer option.

Rgds

If you move it to his tag, he can issue a transfer request to himself ?

If you phone them they send out the activation email immediately.
